On Sunday we started our summer series on Parables from the book of Matthew. I spent some time introducing the series and exploring how we view parables before we looked at the parable of the compassionate employer (Matthew 20: 1-16). We tried to look at this story from the perspective of those people hearing it for the first time when it was told and the impact it would have had on them.
