On Sunday we looked at Moses strong declaration of faith in Hebrews 11(28) and how that contrasted with the weakness Moses showed in Exodus 3 & 4.
Hebrews speaks of how Moses and others, from weakness were made strong. How did Moses faith grow from weakness to strength how can our faith grow from
weakness to strength? Faith grows through relationship.
Faith grows through relationship as we Become closer to God. Not a vending machine mentality it's about a deepening relationship with God based on the
fact that as Christians we're His Children. We grow in faith as we live out of this identity.
Faith grows through relationship as we discover God is credible. What God says really is the truth. We learn through experiences of life to hear from God, to trust Him. Jesus
said my sheep hear my voice. That includes every one of us. We attune ourselves to hear through immersing ourselves in the Scriptures and involving God in every aspect of our lives. Moses had some battles in this and so do we. Satan is a liar and wants to rob us of relationship as he, Satan, did with Adam & Eve "Did God say..." that is to say, is what God says the truth?
Faith grows through relationship as we discover God never changes God is Good. "God doesn't give bad stuff because He hasn't any bad stuff to give" As we stand on this truth see it as non negotiable Faith grows through relationship.
Faith grows through relationship as we grow closer to God, experience that He is credible and that He never changes, always good. As we grow on this we will be standing on the Rock and as a rock.
- Is there a testimony you can share of how in the past God brought you through a particular challenge. How does this show that Faith grows through relationship ?
- Is there a challenge you could share now for people to encourage pray and stand with you in?
- Is there someone who you could go and encourage in some way, neighbour, work etc?
Love to you all
